Parents / Carers

The parent/ carer group is held monthly at King Street Studio – the group runs as support network.

Sometimes professionals and other agencies come to give information on issues that affect many people with an ASC. Some organisations represented include Aiming High; a local Solicitor, a representative from the Family Fund and Parent Participation and Involvement.

Sometimes the group runs as a parent/ carer self support group where people have the chance to talk and discuss issues that they feel are pertinent to their lives.

The  group is always run by a member of staff and volunteers who have lots of experience with ASCs. New  members are always welcome.
